Will the results of the assembly elections of 5 states affect the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024?

The recently concluded assembly elections in five states have surprised everyone. Actually, assembly elections were held in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Mizoram. The results of these elections have also been declared. In three out of five states, the people have given absolute majority to BJP to form the government. Regarding this, India TV took the pulse of the public on this question through its poll, on which shocking answers were received.

What was the question?

India TV had asked the public in its poll that ‘Will the results of the assembly elections of 5 states affect the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024?’ For this, we asked the public three questions ‘Yes’, ‘No’ and ‘Can’t say’. Options were given. The public participated enthusiastically in this poll. We got a chance to know the opinion of a total of 31108 people. In this poll, most of the people said that the results of the assembly elections held in five states will also affect the Lok Sabha elections.

How was the result of the poll in statistics?

Talking about the figures, a total of 31108 people took part in this voting. Most of them, i.e. 74 percent, believed that the results of the assembly elections would also affect the Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, about 24 percent people believed that the results of these assembly elections will have no impact on the Lok Sabha elections. Whereas 2 percent people chose the option of ‘cannot say’.
