‘PoK was created because of Nehru’s mistake, otherwise it would have been a part of India today’, Amit Shah’s statement in Lok Sabha

Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday discussed two new bills related to Jammu and Kashmir. Talking on this, Amit Shah also targeted Congress. In his address, Shah said that the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir has upset some people.
Amit Shah said that the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Amendment Act 2023 and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Amendment Bill 2023 are bills to provide justice to those who were wronged, humiliated and ignored for seventy years. He said that Section 370 was responsible for the death of 45 thousand people there, which was uprooted by the Modi government.
Amit Shah also targeted Congress here. He said, ‘The problem of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (Pok) first arose because of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Ceasefire was imposed without the entire Kashmir coming into our hands, otherwise that part would have belonged to Kashmir. There was an uproar in the House on this statement of Shah, after which the opposition walked out of the Lok Sabha.
In his address, Shah said that there is respect associated with the name of the bill, only those people can see it, who want to take the finger of those left behind and move them forward with compassion. Those people cannot understand this, who use it for vote bank.
‘Removing Article 370 upset some people’
The Home Minister further said that Narendra Modi is such a leader, who was born in a poor family and has become the Prime Minister of the country, he knows the pain of the backward and the poor. Amit Shah said that the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir has upset some people.
Amit Shah said in Lok Sabha that removal of 370 will lead to rivers of blood in Kashmir, leave alone rivers of blood, no one had the courage to throw stones. Shah said that the country should have only one symbol and only one flag. Article 370 should have been removed already.
Talking on Kashmir, Shah said that we had also gone to hoist the tricolor at Lal Chowk, but we were stopped. At that time one had to struggle to hoist the tricolor. Today every house has tricolor. There is not a single house in the valley where the tricolor is not there. Shah further said that Zero Terror Plan has been implemented in J-K for 3 years and it will be fully implemented by 2026.
Amit Shah further said in his address that after the 1980s, the era of terrorism came and it was a very frightening scene. The people who used to live on this land considering it their country were thrown out and no one cared about them. The people who were responsible for stopping it were enjoying their holidays in England. When Kashmiri Pandits were displaced, they were forced to live as refugees in their own country. According to current figures, about 46,631 families and 1,57,968 people were displaced in their own country. This bill is to give them rights, this bill is to give them representation.
Adhir Ranjan gave challenge, Shah accepted
During the discussion in the Lok Sabha, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Choudhary said that I challenge that a date should be fixed and there should be a debate on Nehru’s contribution on the Kashmir issue. Chaudhary claimed that some BJP leaders are accusing Nehru of not handling the Kashmir issue properly. Shah immediately replied to this. He said that the government accepts this challenge and is ready for debate.
