Uttarakhand: Mahendra Bhatt called Modi’s arrival in the Investor Summit a golden opportunity for development and employment

BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt described the Investor Summit and the arrival of PM Modi as bringing golden opportunities for development and employment in the state. He also took a dig at Harish Rawat’s silent fast and said that despite being made in-charge observers in all the three states, it is appropriate for the Congressmen to remain silent in case of defeat.

After holding an important meeting regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival in Doon on December 8, Bhatt, while talking to the media, described his participation in the summit as fortunate. He said that till now our government has achieved investment MoUs worth more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore, and thousands of industrialists and their representatives are going to reach the summit. Modi ji’s respect among investors and his affection towards the people of Devbhoomi is going to make this event 100% successful and grandest. This investment will write a new story of development in the state and create record employment opportunities for the youth. It is clear from the MOU signed so far that there will be large scale investment in the hilly areas which will decisively end the problem of migration from there.

Bhatt informed about the preparations to welcome Modi ji that Modi ji will be welcomed by 1500 women workers along with flower showers by all the MLAs and senior officials of the party upon his arrival at various places. The rich cultural heritage of the state will be presented through folk artists in his welcome. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the 1.4 crore people of Uttarakhand along with the party workers due to his arrival.

During this, while answering the questions asked by the journalists regarding the silent fast of former CM Harish Rawat, Bhatt sarcasticly said that now it is better for him to remain silent. Because Congress leaders were sent to these three states by making them observers and in-charges from the state and the results are in front of everyone. Therefore, there is no issue left for him to speak and the great public has given a befitting reply to all of them.
