Uttarakhand: On Home Guard Foundation Day, CM Dhami launched Drut App, opened a box of announcements including new recruitment for Home Guards

A ceremonial parade was organized in Dehradun today on the foundation day of Home Guard and Civil Defense. During this time, while the Home Guard won everyone’s hearts through the ceremonial parade, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also tried to encourage the department by making several announcements for the Home Guard after the program.
Raetic parade on Home Guard Foundation Day
Today in Dehradun, not only did the Home Guard demonstrate discipline through the religious parade, but the motorcycle team surprised the people present at the program by performing many amazing feats. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and all the senior officials of the department were present in the program. During this, the Home Guard also demonstrated mutual coordination and discipline by performing brilliantly in the parade. Home Guard Department’s Drut App was also released in the programme. Through which Home Guards will be able to play an important role in relief and rescue work during disasters.
Home guards showed tricks
The brave motorcycle squad surprised everyone by performing many stunts in front of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. During this, appreciation certificates and medals were also distributed by the Chief Minister to the Home Guards who did special work. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also made some announcements for Home Guards during the program. Today was the 76th raising day of Home Guard and Civil Defense in which Dhami took the salute of the parade.
Rapid app launch for home guards
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while mentioning the important role of Home Guard in Silkyara Tunnel, said that the message of Home Guard is where less is there, we are there. He is also fulfilling this completely. He said that our government has also started the facility of CSD canteen on the lines of Seva, whereas now through the Drut app, home guards will be able to provide their services in a better way. The Chief Minister also praised the Home Guard’s band Maska Baja.
Flurry of announcements for Home Guards
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state will soon get 330 women home guards. Apart from this, 300 male home guards will also be recruited soon. He also talked about making a firing range for Home Guards in Prem Nagar. Apart from this, it was also announced that Home Guards will be given 12 leaves in a year. Apart from this, announcement of construction of building for the rescue center and announcement of departmental motorcycle was also made. The Chief Minister said that on the lines of SDRF, incentive amount will also be given to Home Guards in the high Himalayan region.
