Bihar / Darbhanga: A confidant was murdered, his friend pushed him in front of a truck and killed him, CCTV revealed

In Darbhanga district of Bihar, a friend took the life of his friend and made the murder look like an accident. According to the information received, Jai Kumar Paswan died after being hit by a mini truck late on Tuesday night near Bela Durga Temple of University Police Station area. After the death, the family members of the deceased raised questions on the death and demanded an impartial investigation into the accident. After the family members of the deceased demanded investigation, the police searched the CCTV footage around the incident site and found that a friend of Jai Kumar pushed him in front of the truck. Due to which Jai died.

Truck driver and helper absconding after the incident

The truck driver and helper are absconding after the incident. In the CCTV footage provided by the police, it is clearly visible that two to three people are standing near a house. A mini truck is coming on the road at high speed and a friend in front of the truck pushes Jai and throws him in front of the truck. After the accident, the other friends present there are seen running away from the spot. However, the person who pushed in this video has not been identified yet. But the police have now started investigating the case considering it a murder. The deceased has been identified as Jai Kumar Paswan, son of Mangal Paswan, resident of Bela Shankar, University police station area.

Police initially thought the case was accidental

City Superintendent of Police Sagar Kumar said that late on Tuesday evening, information about an accident was received near Bela Mod of University police station. After this, the local police station reached the spot and after maintaining law and order, the body of the deceased was sent for post-mortem. Initially we thought this incident was accidental. But during the investigation, after examining the CCTV footage, it was seen that a person was forcefully pushing the deceased in front of the mini truck. Due to which he dies. The responsibility of impartial investigation of this incident has been given to Sadar SDPO. With the help of CCTV footage, the culprit will be identified and arrested and given severe punishment.
