Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Utility vehicle fell into 500 meter deep ditch, two laborers died on the spot

A utility vehicle met with an accident on Haripur-Kwanu Minas road. The vehicle fell into a 500 meter deep gorge. In this accident, two laborers died on the spot.

A utility vehicle carrying lime from Vikas Nagar to Himachal Pradesh met with an accident. The vehicle fell into a 500 meter deep ditch on the Haripur-Kwanu Minas road. In this accident, two laborers traveling in the vehicle died on the spot. On receiving information about the incident, SDRF team reached the spot. The team took out both the bodies from the ditch.
There were three people in the vehicle including the driver
According to the information received, the vehicle was going from Vikasnagar to Shimla carrying lime. In which there were three people including the driver. It is being told that the accident happened when the driver parked the vehicle on the roadside for some work and came out of the vehicle. Then suddenly the vehicle started moving backwards. Before the workers could jump, the vehicle fell into the ditch.
The deceased were residents of Himachal
Both the youths killed in the accident were residents of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The deceased have been identified as Rohit (19) son of Dil Bahadur and Mohanlal (25) son of Ratiram. Who lived in Chaupal of Nerwa tehsil of Shimla district. Both of them worked as laborers and were going to apply lime on apple trees.
