Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra program organized in Baniawala Arcadia Grant and Yamuna Colony, 208 women were linked to Ujjwala scheme

Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues at different places in Dehradun city. Yatra programs were organized at Arcadia Grant and Yamuna Colony of Dehradun on Friday. Departments like Child Development, Rural, Agriculture, Health etc. were present in this program. Stalls were also set up by these departments in the program, so that people could benefit by getting information about public welfare schemes. During the Sankalp Yatra, people also took an oath to make a developed India. During this, the address of Honorable President and Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding developed India was narrated to the people present.

Many people deprived of schemes were linked to public welfare schemes in the Sankalp Yatra program organized in Baniawala and Yamuna Colony. 336 people were examined in the free medical camps at both the places. 208 women were linked to Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. 12 women were added to the program from Bal Vikas Project. 30 people were linked to Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana and 25 people were linked to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana during this period.

The cut out of Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains the center of special attraction in the travel program. People are also taking photographs with this cut out as a souvenir. Apart from this, booklets containing information about various public welfare schemes of the Government of India are also being distributed to the people in the program.
