A woman was made its victim by a leopard late Thursday evening in Tok Kasail of Maluvatal Panchayat of Bhimtal Block village of Nainital district. Woman was cutting fodder for animals
According to the information received, Indira Devi (35) wife of Mohan Belwal had gone to the forest to cut fodder for the animals. During this time, the leopard sitting in ambush attacked him. Before the woman could run to save herself, the leopard made her his prey.
Other women and children saved their lives by running away
She went with the woman to cut fodder and the women and the child ran away from there to save their lives. Hearing the noise of the villagers who reached the spot, the leopard attacked them too. After this he ran away towards the forest. There is an atmosphere of fear among the villagers after the death of the woman. The family members of the woman are in bad condition and crying.
