The straw truck hit the woman riding the scooter hard. After which the truck dragged the woman to a long distance. The woman died tragically on the spot in the accident. While the young man sitting in the woman’s scooter got injured.

The accident is being reported on Thursday night on Nainital Road. According to the information, Geeta Mehra, resident of Daksh Chauraha, was leaving Nainital Road on Scooty with her neighbor Shekhar Tiwari. Near the vegetable market, a truck coming from behind hit the scooter hard.
Woman died in accident
In the accident, the young man driving the scooter got thrown and fell on the side of the road while Geeta got stuck in the scooter and the truck dragged her for a long distance. Pedestrians stopped the truck. But by then the woman had died a painful death.
Truck driver arrested
The woman’s body was also badly crushed in the accident. While Shekhar got injured. The deceased’s husband is said to be posted in the army. According to the information, SP City Manoj Katyal said that the truck along with the driver has also been taken into custody.
