Now commuting to the capital Patna is going to become even easier. Vande Bharat Express coming from New Jalpaiguri to Patna via Kishanganj, Katihar will start from 17th December. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this Vande Bharat through video conferencing.
Let us tell you that PM Modi will inaugurate 10 new Vande Bharat Express across the country on this day. According to information received from special sources of Katihar Railway Division, Katihar Railway Division has been instructed to be ready on 17th December. Information is being received that new rakes of NJP Vande Bharat Express will also arrive by Tuesday. It is known that NJP railway station comes under Katihar railway division.
After this news of this gift of Railways, there is a lot of happiness among the people of NJP, Kishanganj, Katihar and surrounding areas. BJP MLC Dr Dilip Kumar Jaiswal said that there was a demand for a train to Patna for a long time. Fulfilling this demand, the Railway Minister has given a gift to the people of Seemanchal in the form of Vande Bharat. After its launch, the journey from Kishanganj, Katihar to Patna can now be covered in a very short time.
People of many districts will benefit from this train. People of Kishanganj, Katihar, Darjeeling, North Dinajpur of West Bengal as well as Purnia and Araria districts will also be able to take advantage of this train. Kishanganj MP Dr Mohammad Javed also told that he had met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav a few months ago and had put forward many other demands along with Patna Vande Bharat, in which it has been announced to start Patna Vande Bharat.
This train for Patna will leave from New Jalpaiguri at 6 am, which will reach Patna at 1 pm after stopping at Kishanganj and Katihar. The journey from NJP to Patna will take only 7 hours. This train going towards Patna will reach Kishanganj at 7 am and Katihar at 8.30 am. On return, it will depart from Patna at 3 pm, reach Katihar at 7:30 pm, Kishanganj at 8:50 pm and reach its destination NJP at 10 pm. This train will operate only six days a week, whereas there is information that this train will not run on Tuesday.
