Rajasthan: 6 accused including both shooters of Gogamedi murder case present in court, now police will interrogate the accused for 7 days

Police have so far arrested 7 accused in the murder case of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. Police presented 6 out of seven accused in the court early on Monday. From where the court has sent all the 6 accused on police remand for 7 days. Earlier on Sunday, the police presented Ramveer Jat in the court and took him on remand for eight days. Now the police will interrogate all the accused including both the shooters by making them sit face to face.

Police had arrested Rohit Rathod and Nitin Fauji, the main accused in the Gogamedi murder case, from Chandigarh late on Saturday night. At the same time, Udham Singh, the accomplice of both the shooters, was arrested by the team of Delhi and Rajasthan Police late on Saturday night from Hotel ‘Kamal Palace’ located in Sector-24, Chandigarh. The three accused were brought to Jaipur on Sunday morning and taken to Sodana police station. At the same time, the police arrested Bhavani alias Roni, Rahul and Sandeep from Bhondsi jail of Gurugram on Sunday evening. These three miscreants were also brought to Jaipur by evening.

These accused appeared in court today

DCP South Yogesh Goyal said that on Monday morning the police presented shooters Rohit Rathod and Nitin Fauji along with their associates Udham Singh, Bhavani alias Ronnie, Rahul and Sandeep in the court. From security point of view, all the accused were presented before the magistrate early in the morning. During the appearance in Court No. 7, the judge sent all the six accused on police remand till December 18. Now the police has started interrogating all the accused at Sodala police station.

Accused Ramveer Jat on 8 days remand

Earlier on Sunday, the police had presented the accused Ramveer Jat in the special court located at Bani Park. From where the accused Ramveer was handed over to the police on 8 days remand. Ramveer Jat, resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana, was arrested by the police on Saturday. Accused Nitin had sent Ramveer to Jaipur on November 19 as part of a conspiracy to murder Gogamedi. After that, when Nitin and Rohit came to Jaipur, they were made to stay at hotels and friend’s flats located in Mahesh Nagar, Shyamnagar and Jawahar Circle with fake IDs. A day before the incident, Ramveer had made Nitin and Rohit do recce of the easy lanes to escape from Gogamedi’s house, so that they could easily get out of Jaipur.
