Ravi Uppal, co-founder of Mahadev betting app, has been arrested by the police. Dubai Police has taken this action on the basis of the Red Corner Notice issued by Interpol. ED had appealed to Interpol to issue a red corner against Ravi Uppal.

Chhattisgarh and Mumbai Police are also investigating against Ravi Uppal. Let us tell you that the main accused in the case is Saurabh Chandrakar. Mahadev betting app has been banned in India. Saurav Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, both hailing from Chhattisgarh, operated it from Dubai.
ED has seized and frozen assets worth Rs 417 crore in the Mahadev online betting case. Officials alleged that the Dubai-based company used online betting applications to recruit new people, forge their identity cards and launder money through several benami bank accounts.
The matter is worth Rs 5 thousand crores
ED is investigating a money laundering case estimated to be over Rs 5000 crore in relation to Mahadev online betting app. Saurabh Chandrakar spent Rs 200 crore on his marriage. His family members had reached UAE in a private plane from Nagpur. According to the central agency, it has seized cash and properties worth Rs 417 crore purchased from the proceeds of crime.
