Uttarakhand: Body of ranger missing for 15 days found, police engaged in investigation

The body of Ranger Harish Chandra Pandey, posted in Terai Central Forest Division, was found in Bhimtal after 15 days. Nainital police was continuously searching for the ranger. After scanning several CCTV footages, the police got the clue of the ranger.

Body of missing ranger found after 15 days
Let us tell you that 15 days ago, Ranger Harish Chandra Pandey, posted in Terai Central Forest Division, had gone missing from his house. After which the forest department and police were continuously searching for them. Police saw Rangers going from Haldwani towards Bhimtal in CCTV footage. After which the police started searching for the ranger in Bhimtal.

Police engaged in investigation
The police team recovered the body of the ranger from Bhimtal on Wednesday. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The real reasons for the ranger’s death will be revealed only after the post-mortem. At present, information about the incident has been given to the family members of Ranger Harish Chandra Pandey.

Ranger missing since evening of 29th November
Let us tell you that Ranger Harish Chandra Pandey, aged 55 years, resident of Unchapul, had gone missing from his house on the evening of 29 November. Despite extensive searching, nothing has been found. The family members were also trying to find him through social media.
