Uttarakhand: CM Dhami did surprise inspection of Doon ISBT, distributed blankets to the needy

Snowfall has started in the high Himalayan areas of Uttarakhand. Due to which the chill has started increasing in the mountainous and plain areas. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made a surprise inspection of Dehradun ISBT and other areas of the city late this evening and distributed blankets to the needy people present on the roadside. He also interacted with all the passengers present at ISBT.

Took information about all the arrangements from the shopkeeper

During ISBT inspection, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took information about cleanliness and other arrangements. Apart from this, CM Dhami also sipped tea at the tea shop present in ISBT premises and talked to the shopkeeper and got information about the arrangements of ISBT.

CM Dhami gave instructions to make arrangements for bonfire

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while giving instructions to all the District Magistrates of the state, said that the outbreak of cold wave is increasing in the state. So that adequate bonfire arrangements should be made in the urban and rural areas of the state. So that no one falls ill due to cold. Apart from this, Chief Minister Dhami has also given instructions to improve the arrangements of night shelters running in the Municipal Corporation and Municipality areas. So that people are not forced to sleep on the roadside.

CM Dhami appealed to the public for cooperation

CM Dhami, who set out to tour various areas of Dehradun city late in the evening, first distributed blankets to the needy people in this winter season at ISBT. Along with this, inquired about the well-being of the people living in night shelters and inspected the arrangements there. All District Magistrates and Municipal Commissioners were directed to ensure effective protection of destitute people from cold and to light bonfires at various places in the city. CM Dhami also appealed to all the people of the state to cooperate in this work of public service.
