Grounding of investment worth Rs 44 thousand crore in Uttarakhand is likely to provide employment to 30 thousand people. After the completion of the Global Investors Conference, the state government has made a strategy to implement the MoU investment proposal.
In this, Niveshmitras are being deployed for MOUs worth more than five crores. Apart from this, Uttarakhand Society for Promotion of Investor, Startup and Entrepreneurship (UK Spice) unit has been formed in the Industries Department for investment. Dhami government has signed an investment proposal of Rs 3.50 crore in the Global Investors Conference.
This includes investment proposals in tourism and hospitality, AYUSH and wellness, education, health, food processing, IT, energy sectors. Before the investment conference held on December 8 and 9, the government has laid the groundwork for investment worth Rs 44 thousand crore. 30 thousand people will get employment in this. To implement each investment proposal, a separate UK Spice Unit has been created in the Department of Industry.
Which will contact the investors and take feedback. We will also solve the hurdles in investment. Apart from this, Niveshmitra is being deployed for big investment proposals of more than Rs 5 crore. So far 10 Niveshmitras have been selected. These Niveshmitras will support the investors.
Government is receiving investment proposals even after the conference
