Uttarakhand / Roorkee: Due to dispute between women, neighbor was killed by hitting her with a brick, case registered

In Roorkee, a dispute broke out between neighboring women over a trivial matter. The dispute escalated to such an extent that two women killed a woman by hitting her on the head with a brick. On the complaint of the deceased’s husband, the police have registered a case against the accused women.

Dispute between women over trivial matter
The matter is of Kotwali Laksar area. The deceased has been identified as Suman, wife of Somveer, resident of Gangdaspur. According to the information, on December 10, Suman had a dispute with neighboring women Rekha and Komal over some issue.

Neighbor killed by bricking
Within no time the dispute escalated so much that both the women caught hold of Suman and started beating her badly. During this, both the women hit Suman on the head with a brick. Due to which Suman bled. Suman died before she could be taken to the hospital.

Case registered on complaint of deceased’s husband
After getting information about the incident, the police team reached the spot. The police have taken the dead body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Suman’s husband Somveer has filed a complaint against both the women to the police regarding the matter. Somveer told that both the women killed his wife by hitting a brick on her head.

Police engaged in investigation
According to the information, Kotwali in-charge Inspector Rajiv Rauthan said that on the basis of Somveer’s complaint, a case has been registered against the accused woman Rekha and Komal resident of Gangdaspur. Along with this, investigation into the matter has been started. Both will be arrested soon.
