Uttarakhand: Congress raised questions on security lapses on the anniversary of Parliament attack, burnt effigy

On the anniversary of the terrorist attack on Parliament, Congress has raised questions over the major lapse in security of Parliament. In the capital Dehradun, Youth Congress also burnt an effigy in protest against this.

On the anniversary of the terrorist attack on Parliament, a major incident of security breach came to light when two people jumped inside the House from the audience gallery during the proceedings of the Lok Sabha. They spread smoke from smoke cans inside the Parliament. Both were caught immediately after the incident. Congress demonstrated in Dehradun in protest against this incident.
Demand for resignation from Home Minister Amit Shah
In Dehradun, Youth Congress burnt the effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah while raising slogans of ‘Down with BJP’ at the Asley Hall in front of the Congress headquarters. Along with this, demands were made for the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah. A demand was also made to take strict action after investigating this entire matter as soon as possible.
