A surprising case has come to light from Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar district. Here, after performing the engagement and baby shower ceremonies, a girl ran away with her family with jewelery and cash worth lakhs.

After performing the engagement and baby shower ceremonies at a luxurious hotel in Rudrapur, the bride and her family disappeared with jewelery and cash at midnight. It is being told that a woman resident of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh got engaged while hiding the fact of her first marriage. But after the engagement and baby shower ceremony, the groom’s family came to know about this. When the matter started coming to light, the bride and her family fled overnight.

According to the information received, after the girl and her family were not found in the hotel, when the boys searched, they came to know that the girl was already married and had not even been divorced from her husband. When the boy’s family asked for dowry from the girl for the goods and jewelery given over the phone, they started receiving threats of implicating her in a false case.

Police registered a case and started investigation
The boy’s father is a former district program manager NHM. The police have registered a report on the basis of the complaint letter given by them. Investigation of the entire matter has been started. On the basis of the complaint, a case of fraud has been registered against the bride, her sister, brother, mother, father, maternal uncle and paternal uncle.
