After the woman judge, now IPS of UP accuses ADG and IG of harassment, the matter reached DGP

The matter of physical abuse complaint of a woman judge of Uttar Pradesh and her demand for euthanasia from the CJI has not been resolved yet. On the other hand, now a case of harassment of a female IPS posted in UP has come to light. A woman IPS of the state has made a serious complaint of mental harassment against the ADG and IG of her unit. Since the complaint, the woman officer has been on long leave citing personal reasons. The DGP has handed over the investigation of the case to the woman DG. Investigation is going on against the accused officers.

In the complaint of the woman officer, there are serious allegations against her two senior officers. It is alleged that both the officers were continuously harassing him mentally. Unnecessary obstacles were being created by the officers in their work area. Comments were also made regarding caste. It is alleged that regarding the incident that happened with the female head constable of the department, both the officers misbehaved with the female officer, whereas the incident that happened with the head constable was not within the jurisdiction of the female officer.

DGP set up investigation

The woman IPS alleges that both the officers were bypassing her in departmental work and coordinating with her junior officers. As the harassment increased, the woman officer complained about the matter to the DGP. After this, the DGP has handed over the investigation of the case to a DG level woman officer.
