Uttarakhand: Case of vandalizing government property, CM Dhami said – strict action will be taken if irregularities are found

Vigilance has registered an FIR against 28 people in the case of destruction of enemy properties located in Jwalapur in Haridwar district. The matter of destroying enemy properties is related to the year 2016. Vigilance has been investigating the matter ever since it came to light. Now, after Vigilance got all the important clues in the case, action has been taken to register an FIR. The names of 10 government officials and employees are also included in the 28 people against whom FIR has been registered.

There has been a stir among the officers since the FIR was registered by Vigilance in this matter. The names of many people including the then Sub-Collector, Lekhpal, Kanungo etc are included in this FIR. Along with this, a retired PCS officer as well as the current PCS officer is also on the vigilance radar. However, PCS officers have expressed their objection to the government.

On the seriousness of this entire matter, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that if any irregularities occur then action will definitely be taken. He said that for the first time the government has started such efforts that whatever irregularities are there, no matter at what level, they will be investigated. Therefore, after investigation, wherever such cases are found in which irregularities or corruption have taken place, strict action will be taken against them. Action has been taken on all the cases that have come to light since the beginning. The CM said that he has also given a clear message to everyone that if such irregularities at the lower level come to the level of the Chief Minister, then action will definitely be taken against them.
