One day state mourning has been declared in Madhya Pradesh. Actually, Kuwait’s Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has passed away. Due to which the national flag will remain at half mast across the state today. The Chief Secretary of MP has issued orders in this regard.

On 16 December 2023, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, died. The Emir of Kuwait breathed his last on Saturday at the age of 86. The Union Home Ministry, in a message sent to all states, said the national flag will be flown at half-mast across India during the state mourning on December 17 and there will be no official entertainment programme.
