Bihar / Begusarai: Accused in custody with weapon; Mother-in-law was shot, then daughter-in-law clashed with the fleeing criminals; chased and caught

Fearless miscreants shot a woman in Begusarai, Bihar. After this, the woman’s daughter-in-law showed courage and shot the fleeing criminals and caught them with the weapon. The incident took place in Rajauli Bind Toli of Chamtha Panchayat-1 of Bachhwara police station area. The injured woman has been identified as Anita Devi, wife of Shankar Paswan.

The miscreants were running away with a pistol

Regarding the incident, family members told that Anita Devi was going to get medicines from her home. Meanwhile, near Chamtha Rajauli Kurma Dam, Amresh Kumar and another resident of the village shot, which hit Anita Devi in the waist. When the woman’s daughter-in-law and the local people ran after hearing the sound of firing, both the miscreants threw their pistols and started running away, but the woman’s daughter-in-law showed courage and chased them away and caught them both.

There is a dispute going on regarding the land

After this, both of them were handed over to Bachhwara police station along with their weapons. Family members say that there is already a dispute going on regarding five katha land. The people who had a dispute over this matter conspired and got the hired criminals shot. After the incident, the injured woman was first admitted to Bachhwara CSC for treatment, from where she was referred to Sadar Hospital.

Accused in custody with weapon

At present the police is interrogating both the accused. Police Station Head Ajit Kumar said that as soon as the information about the shooting was received, the police immediately reached the spot, from where two accused have been detained along with weapons. Right now he is being interrogated.
