Bihar / Patna: Children were playing in a parked car then suddenly a fire broke out; Minor brother and sister burnt to death

A heart-wrenching incident is coming to light from Patna. Last Monday night, two small children were playing in an Alto car parked outside a house in Sohagi Rampur of Gaurichak police station in Patna. After some time, suddenly the door of the car got locked and the parked car caught fire. In this incident, both the children inside the car burnt to death. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos among the family members. By the time people nearby somehow broke the glass of the car and took the children out, both of them were badly burnt.
The only son of the family was a minor
After the incident, the family members of the deceased left for Jehanabad with the bodies of both the crying children. Sanjeev Yadav’s 4 year old son Rajpal and Sanjeev’s brother’s 4 year old daughter are involved in this incident. The minor was the only son of deceased Rajpal Sanjeev Yadav, who died. Please inform that Sanjeev Yadav is a resident of Jehanabad, he had come to live in Gaurichak five months ago after building a new house. Sanjeev Gaurichak does ballast sand business at Sohagi turn.
Innocent children were playing in the car
People told that the old Alto car is always parked outside his house. Sanjeev Yadav’s 4 year old son and his brother’s 4 year old daughter sat in the car while playing, after some time the car door closed from inside. People believe that both the children might have been playing inside with matchsticks etc., due to which the fire broke out. As soon as the fire broke out inside the car, smoke rose due to which both of them started suffocating. Seeing the smoke in the car, people nearby ran there. Meanwhile suddenly a fire broke out inside the car. Seeing the car on fire, there was panic among the people nearby.
Family members did not inform the police station
People tried to extinguish the fire, but by then both the innocent children had burnt to death. After this, people broke the glass of the car, took out the children and ran towards the hospital. Then the family took the children to Nalanda Medical College Hospital in Patna, where the doctors declared the children dead. Gauri Chak Police Station President Krishna Kumar said that he has not received any such information from the villagers. The family members took the bodies of the children and left for Jehanabad for the last rites without conducting post-mortem and without informing the police station.
