Uttarakhand also alert after variant JN.1 found in Kerala, SOP may be issued today

Uttarakhand has also become alert after the new variant of Corona JN.1 was found in Kerala. The state government may also issue SOP on Tuesday regarding investigation and monitoring of persons with suspicious symptoms. On Monday, the Central Government has issued guidelines to all the states to increase investigation and surveillance after a new case of Corona was reported in Kerala.

Based on the guidelines of the Centre, the state government can also issue guidelines to all the districts for the prevention of corona infection. State Officer of Vector Borne Disease Control Program, Dr. Pankaj Singh said that a new variant of Corona has been found in Kerala. The Central Government has issued guidelines regarding this. However, there is no case related to the new variant of Corona in the state yet. As a precautionary measure, districts will be given guidelines regarding monitoring and investigation as before.
