A surprising case has come to light from Farrukhabad, UP. On Wednesday, a sudden fire broke out in the Election Commission warehouse in Farrukhabad. More than a dozen EVM machines kept in the warehouse were burnt and destroyed. The most surprising thing is that the warehouse where EVM machines were kept. There was no electricity connection in that warehouse. In such a situation, there can be no possibility of fire due to short circuit. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also raised questions regarding this mysterious fire. While posting on X, he has written that 800 EVMs were burnt in Farrukhabad, smoke of suspicion is rising due to the fire that started without short circuit.

A fire broke out in the Election Commission warehouse in Farrukhabad on Wednesday morning. Due to which there was chaos. The fire brigade team that reached the spot after receiving information about the fire was unable to find a way to enter the warehouse. The warehouse was filled with smoke.

The fire brigade team made a hole in the wall and sprayed water. The fire was brought under control after half an hour of hard work. According to City Magistrate Satish Chandra, the reason for the fire in the warehouse is not clear. There is no electricity fitting inside the warehouse, hence there can be no possibility of fire due to short circuit.

Instructions for securing the DVR
800 EVM machines are kept in the warehouse. EVM machines are being taken out from the warehouse. Only after this will it be clear how many EVM machines have been destroyed. City Magistrate has given instructions to secure the DVR. The cause of the fire in the warehouse will be known only after investigation. The opposition has been continuously raising questions on EVMs.
