Pulkit Arya, the main accused in the much-discussed Ankita Bhandari murder case, has received a major blow from the High Court. The High Court has rejected Pulkit’s bail plea. The High Court accepted that this is a serious crime and evidence of tampering with evidence has also come to light, hence the bail petition is rejected.

Pulkit Arya’s bail plea was heard in a single bench of Justice Ravindra Maithani, after which the High Court rejected the bail plea. During the hearing, Nainital High Court clearly said that this is a serious crime. Till now, all the testimonies taken in the lower court and their statements have also confirmed that the three accused were present at the spot at the time of the incident. He repeatedly pressurized Ankita Bhandari to provide VIP service. Even during the forensic investigation, her location was found there. Not only this, Ankita Bhandari has also mentioned this in her WhatsApp chat.

During the hearing, Ankita’s parents said that the accused vandalized the resort to hide the evidence. The CCTV cameras of the resort were switched off and the DVR was also tampered with. Therefore, the bail plea of ​​Pulkit Arya is rejected.

Let us tell you that on September 18, receptionist Ankita Bhandari had suddenly gone missing at Vananthara Resort located in Ganga Bhogpur, Yamkeshwak. His body was recovered from the Chilla Canal five days later. Preliminary investigation had revealed that resort owner Pulkit Arya, his friends Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta had murdered Ankita by pushing her into the Chilla Barrage. After this incident, in view of the careless attitude of the Revenue Police, the case was transferred to the regular police. After which the whole matter was revealed.

This incident had brought an uproar in the entire state. At present the hearing of the case is going on in the lower court located at Kotdwar. Pulkit Arya had filed a bail plea in the High Court a week ago.
