Sinwar, the mastermind behind the ‘massacre’ in Israel, was caught by the IDF
A fierce war continues between Israel and Hamas. Israel is running a ground operation in the Gaza Strip, bent on destroying Hamas. Hundreds of Hamas commanders have been killed in the Israeli operation. Now Israel has intensified the search for top Hamas leaders hiding in Gaza, which includes Yahya Sinwar. Sinwar is considered the mastermind of the attack on Israel on October 7. Sinwar has escaped capture by Israeli forces twice in the last few days.
According to Israeli media reports, Sinwar Khan is hiding in the tunnels built in Yunis area. The Israeli army has been conducting operations in the interior areas of Gaza for the last few weeks. Many hideouts and tunnels have also been destroyed by the Israeli army in search of Sinwar and other Hamas leaders.
Israel is blaming Sinwar for the attack on October 7. 1140 people were killed in this attack. During this period, Hamas fighters had also taken 250 people hostage, out of which 105 people were released, while many were killed. Since these attacks, Israel has been continuously bombing Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army is also running ground operations in Gaza. So far 19,667 people have been killed in these attacks.
How did Sinwar escape?
Recently during the ground operation the Israeli army had reached a tunnel, but Sinwar escaped before the IDF could reach the tunnel. The IDF had gathered intelligence that Sinwar was constantly changing his locations instead of staying in one place. According to Israeli media, Sinwar managed to escape from his positions twice in recent days before the Israeli army reached them.
Talks continue on ceasefire between Israel and Hamas
