How did the controversy start?
The dispute between the two YouTubers started over an alleged scam. Actually, on December 11, Sandeep Maheshwari uploaded a video on YouTube. In this video he claimed to have exposed a ‘big scam’. In the video, he was talking about people buying courses worth thousands of rupees in the name of teaching business. He called it a big scam. In the video he is talking to two boys. One boy tells that he bought a course from a big YouTuber for Rs 50 thousand, while the other says that he gave Rs 35 thousand in return. The boys told that they are asked to sell this course to other people, this is a kind of multi-level marketing. After this Sandeep Maheshwari called it a kind of scam and said that it should be stopped. However, in this 10-minute video he did not take the name of any business guru.

The issue of scam was raised without naming
After the video was uploaded, Sandeep Maheshwari and #StopScamBusiness started trending on social media. After this, the next day Sandeep Maheshwari claimed in a YouTube community post that some people are pressurizing my team to remove the video. He said that he will not remove the video under any circumstances. He claimed that the person who exposed the scam is also receiving many calls to change his statement. I have a feeling this is going to get worse. But I am ready for it because I am taking this stand for our society. Even Vivek Bindra’s name was not revealed. But after this post, Vivek Bindra made a post and gave an open challenge to Sandeep Maheshwari.

When both the YouTubers came forward
After this Vivek Bindra and Sandeep Maheshwari came face to face in public. Sandeep Maheshwari claimed that Vivek Bindra has threatened his team with legal action. He posted and said, ‘My dear Vivek, from one side you threatened my team with legal action and from the other side you sent your employees to my house. That too not just once… again and again. Do you really think I am afraid of your threats’. He further said that now all the YouTubers will expose you openly. Will talk openly about ‘big business’ by taking your name. After this, 5 days ago he again uploaded a video.

Vivek Bindra also made many allegations
After Sandeep Maheshwari, Vivek Bindra himself jumped into this war of words. He uploaded a video on YouTube and made many allegations against Sandeep Maheshwari. He said, ‘You took wrong advantage of people’s love. You did not ask the other side. If you are calling it a scam then you should have known the other side’s side also. Never do anything that could jeopardize the livelihood of so many people. Bindra alleged that none of your Business Mastery videos were going above Rs 2 lakh. That’s why you added a scam and it went to Rs 50 lakh. He also said that he will expose Sandeep Maheshwari in the coming days.

Sandeep Maheshwari then uploaded a video and said that he will generate ad revenue from his YouTube channel and will use it to hire a legal team against Vivek Bindra’s scam. He also appealed to the people to file an FIR against this alleged scam and start a trend on social media. Maheshwari showed some RBI circulars in the video and called Bindra’s schemes a scam. Along with this, he said in the community post that we had not taken anyone but Vivek Bindra thought that we were afraid of him. He alleged that Bindra sent people to his house and office.
