Vice President Dhankhar invited Gurukul students to visit Parliament House, also took a dig at the opposition

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was on Uttarakhand tour today. Where he inaugurated the Veda Science and Culture Mahakumbh organized at Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar, which was organized on the occasion of the 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. The program will continue till December 25, in which UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also participate.

Along with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and retired Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh were also present. In his speech, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar invited the students of Gurukul Kangri University to see the Parliament House and said that they should come to see the Parliament House once without wasting any time. The Vice President said that he will personally show the Parliament House to all the students and all the students and the Vice Chancellor will be guests in our Parliament House.

Vice President Dhankhar said that by coming to the Parliament House, the students will know how much change has happened in the present and past India. By seeing the Parliament House, the students will know what other changes will be seen in India in the coming times. Along with this he said that Vedas have great importance in our life. That is why we should study the Vedas.

The Vice President further said, to make the country great, we will have to return to the Vedas. He sarcastically said that some people are not able to digest India’s progress, you will work to correct their digestion. Some people feel insulted towards Indian culture. They are engaged in tarnishing the image of India. There should be retribution against anyone spreading anti-India propaganda.

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that now we will have to return to the Vedas and move forward in the direction of the life of Maharishi Dayanand. Only then can India again become a world leader, about which our sages had imagined and today our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is continuously working to move forward in this direction. It is a great irony that even today the Vedas are far away from the common people. Our Veda Acharya Dharmacharya should connect the common people with the Vedas and this work can be done only when such programs are organized.
