Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Jolly Grant Airport and paid tribute by placing a wreath on the mortal remains of Rifleman Gautam Kumar of Kotdwar and Virendra Singh of Chamoli, who made the supreme sacrifice while serving Mother India in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Chief Minister said that the country will always remember our martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the country. The state government stands with the military families every moment. He consoled them by talking to the families of martyr Gautam Kumar and Virendra Singh. The Chief Minister has prayed to God to grant peace to the departed souls and provide patience to their families in this hour of grief. He said that the sacrifice made by our soldiers for the defense of the nation will always inspire all of us to serve the nation.
