Uttarakhand: Rajnath Singh and Lok Sabha Speaker reached Spiritual Festival, CM said- UCC will be implemented next year

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Jagadguru Shankaracharya Ashram in Haridwar today. Here he took blessings of Swami Rajarajeshwarashram Maharaj and discussed many issues. After this, CM reached the Divine Spiritual Festival organized at Harihar Ashram located in Kankhal. At the same time, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Defense Ministers Rajnath Singh and Sudhanshu Trivedi also reached Harihar Ashram.

UCC draft will be available in the new year

CM Dhami said that while on one hand we implemented the country’s toughest anti-copying law in Uttarakhand, we also made a law to stop religious conversion. For the first time in the state, action was taken against land jihad. For the first time, we did not shy away from taking action against the corrupt. Along with this, we also started the system of 30 percent reservation for the women of the state.

Now we are preparing to implement Uniform Civil Code of Conduct in Uttarakhand also. Will get the draft in the new year. In line with the vision of the PM, we are committed to work with full devotion and dedication for the development and welfare of the state. We have adopted the basic mantra of ‘resolution without options’ to make Uttarakhand the best state of the country. On this occasion, grand events have been organized at Harihar Ashram. The inaugural session of the festival was attended by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat.
