Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding rain and snowfall. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather patterns across the state will change in the new year.

Snowfall in the mountains and fog warning in the plains
According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, a warning of dense fog has been issued in the morning in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar on Tuesday. Along with this, the weather will remain dry in other districts. Whereas the weather will change in the coming few days.

There are chances of snowfall and rain in the mountains on New Year. Whereas its direct effect will be seen in the plains also. Due to cold wave, cold will increase across the state and the temperature will also drop.

Let us tell you that western disturbance may become active on the night of 31st December. Due to which there are chances of rain and snowfall in the beginning of the new year. According to Meteorological Director Dr. Bikram Singh, moisture has started forming in the atmosphere due to north-westerly winds. Due to this the day temperature has also started decreasing.
