Earthquake tremors in Ladakh, Kargil, Poonch and Kishtwar, intensity measured 4.5

Earthquake tremors were felt in Ladakh at around 4 am on Tuesday morning. People came out of their homes due to the earthquake. Its intensity has been measured at 4.5 on the Richter scale. Apart from Ladakh, earthquake tremors have also been felt in Kargil, Poonch and Kishtwar.

Earthquake of 3.7 magnitude in Kishtwar district

According to the information, an earthquake of 3.7 magnitude on the Richter scale occurred in the nearby Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The earthquake in Kishtwar occurred at around 1.10 am at a depth of 5 km. Due to its low intensity on the Richter scale, not much impact was seen. At present there has been no news of any damage due to the earthquake.
