21,110 Palestinians killed in Israeli attack in Gaza Strip: Health Ministry

Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said that 21,110 Palestinians have been killed and 55,243 have been injured in Israeli attacks since October 7. The spokesman said in a statement on Wednesday that 195 people had been killed and 325 injured in Israeli military strikes in the past 24 hours.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are engaged in a war with the Hamas terrorist group after they launched an offensive in southern Israel, killing 1,200 and wounding more than 3,000.

Approximately 240 Israeli civilians were abducted and held hostage. Of these, 105 were released by Hamas during a week-long ceasefire from 24 November to 1 December.

Earlier on Wednesday, four hostages were released and a female soldier was rescued by the IDF. Three hostages were killed in unnecessary firing by the IDF in northern Gaza. According to Israeli intelligence agencies, 22 of the hostages have died.
