The Chief Minister said that development works are being carried out continuously to realize the concept of making Champawat district an ideal district. In this series, in order to quickly solve the electricity related problems of the people of the district and to improve the electricity systems, the foundation stone and bhoomi pujan of the office building of the newly created Electricity Distribution Board, Champawat has been done by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited of the state. Three power distribution divisions Champawat, Khatima and Sitarganj will be included under this division. Due to which, after the opening of new circles, people will not have to travel long distances to take their electricity problems to higher authorities.
