On New Year, all hotels, restaurants and dhabas in Uttarakhand will remain open 24 hours. The Labor Department has issued an order for this. It is being told that the government has taken this step for the convenience of tourists. Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has issued forecast of snowfall at many places in the state. In view of this, tourists from all over the state come to celebrate New Year. Hotels and dhabas in the state remain closed at night, so tourists have to face problems.
Orders issued to open hotels, restaurants and dhabas 24 hours
In order to ensure that tourists do not face any difficulties, the order has been issued by Secretary Labor R Meenakshi Sundaram. According to which, under the Uttarakhand Shops and Establishments (Employment Regulations and Service Conditions) Act 2017, all hotels, restaurants and dhabas will open 24 hours in view of the movement of tourists.
Secretary Labor R Meenakshi Sundaram has also given permission to the employees of all the establishments in the state to work in day and night shifts as per the rules. Along with this, he appealed to the owners of all the establishments to keep their establishments open 24 hours during this season.
