What is Bharat GPT of Reliance Jio? Joined hands with IIT Bombay for AI Project
After bringing a revolution in the country’s telecom sector, Reliance Jio is now ready to step into the Artificial Intelligence sector also. The company is ready to launch its new AI project Bharat GPT which is being developed in collaboration with IIT Bombay.
Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani attended the annual Techfest of IIT Bombay on Thursday. During this, he said that after becoming the country’s largest telecom company, Jio has decided to launch a new AI project. It has been named Bharat GPT.
Akash Ambani said that this AI project will pave a new path for the company. We are working on a project with the IITs to launch the India GPT programme. We are working hard to bring AI into our organization as well as every sector.
What changes will GPT bring to India?
Jio is planning to bring AI projects in every segment of the company. Akash Ambani says that the next 10 years will be defined by big language models and generative AI. Through the AI developments of Bharat GPT and Jio, it will be possible to start new work in many areas.
When will Jio launch India GPT?
It is believed that Bharat GPT is being developed for Jio’s telecom products. No date or timeline has been announced yet for its launch. But it is expected that it can be announced in the early months of 2024.
Jio’s operating system for TV
Akash Ambani said that Jio is also preparing to launch its own operative system for television. We are currently thinking strategically about how to launch it. Along with this, he also hinted about the launch of Jio 2.0 but did not tell anything in detail about it.
