Uttarakhand: Congress sent memorandum to the Governor demanding strong land law, asked for 70 percent reservation in jobs.

Local Congress MLA in the city Sumit Hridayesh along with the workers sent a memorandum to the Governor through SDM Haldwani Paritosh Verma supporting the enactment of land law. During this, MLA Sumit Hridayesh said that there is a need to make a strong land law in Uttarakhand. Strong land law is in the interest of the people of Uttarakhand. He said that land law should be made in Uttarakhand and 70 percent reservation should be ensured for local unemployed youth in industries set up within the state.

Sumit Hridayesh demanded implementation of land law

Congress MLA from Haldwani Assembly seat said that there is an absolute need for a strong land law in the state to save the cultural heritage of Uttarakhand state. Uttarakhand’s own land law is the main demand of the present time to compensate for the suicidal decision taken by the BJP government led by former Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat by amending the Zamindari Abolition and Land Settlement Act. There should be a ban on purchasing land for outsiders. So that the beauty of our Uttarakhand can be maintained.

Demand for 70 percent reservation in jobs for local youth

Congress MLA Sumit Hridayesh said that the migration of unemployed youth from the state is increasing day by day. Both the water and youth of the mountains are of no use to the mountains. To stop rising unemployment and increasing migration, the state government should immediately implement the system of giving 70% reservation to local unemployed youth in industries established by the previous Congress government.
