Big news is coming out from Uttarakhand. The government on Thursday promoted four IPS officers of 2006 batch to the post of IG. The Home Department has also issued its orders.

Let us tell you that as per the order, the officers who got promotion include DIG Arun Mohan Joshi, Anant Shankar Takwale, Rajiv Swaroop and Sweety Aggarwal. These four IPS will become IG from January 1, 2024. Since Sweety Aggarwal is on deputation, she has been given perma promotion.
It has been decided to promote 2010 batch IPS officer Superintendent of Police Sukhbir Singh to the post of DIG from January 1. Along with this, it has also been decided to provide selection grade to IPS Mukesh Kumar and Dhirendra Gunjyal of 2011 batch from January 1.
