Turmoil in South Africa, becomes Test captain without playing any match, will take command of the team on debut

After the two-match Test series being played with the Indian cricket team, South Africa has to play against New Zealand in the same format. Neil Brand will captain on test debut
South Africa has appointed Neil Brand as the captain for the Test series against New Zealand to be played in February next year. Neil Brand has not played any test match for his team till now. He will directly enter the captaincy in the debut match on the tour of New Zealand. The first match between South Africa and New Zealand in February is to start from 4th February while the second Test is to start from 13th February.

7 new players in South Africa test team
The South African team going on the tour of New Zealand has included seven new players. The captaincy is going to be in the hands of Neil Brand. Apart from this, Renard Van Tonder, Ruan de Swart, Tshepo Moreki, Schuan von Berg, Mihalali Mpongwana and wicketkeeper Clyde Fortuin have been selected in the Test team for the first time.
