Uttarakhand: Getting a pre-wedding shoot done in the river proved costly in Rishikesh, water level suddenly increased, couple drowned in Ganga

Getting a pre-wedding shoot done for a couple in Rishikesh proved costly. During the pre-wedding shoot, both of them were washed away in the river due to sudden rise in water. The young man became unconscious due to drowning in water. SDRF rescued both of them in time and saved their lives.
Getting pre-wedding shoot done in Ganga proved costly
A young man and a girl from Delhi had reached Rishikesh for a pre-wedding in the river Ganga. During the pre-wedding shoot the water level of Ganga suddenly increased. Due to which the young man and the girl got stuck on an island on the river. Then the young man’s foot slipped and he fell into the river. The young man became unconscious due to drowning.
Villagers informed SDRF
It is being told that the young man and the girl were shooting on the island near Singtali bridge at around 11.30 in the morning. Meanwhile, the water in the river increased and both of them were swept away. When the nearby villagers saw this, they immediately informed the SDRF. After which SDRF reached the spot and rescued both of them. The young man had become unconscious due to drowning and was taken to the hospital with the help of ambulance.
The couple came to Uttarakhand from Delhi
According to the information received, Delhi residents Manas (27) son of Mukesh Kheda and Anjali daughter of Naveen Aneja had come to Uttarakhand for pre-wedding shoot before their marriage. Here he had come to Byasi in Rishikesh to get his pre-wedding shoot done in the middle of the river.
