Angry drivers raised slogans
Angered by the provision of 10 years’ imprisonment in the Hit and Run Act, a large number of drivers gathered at the grain market in Bazpur. From where the angry people took out a procession in the city shouting slogans and protested in the SDM office and sent a memorandum to the President. During this, Truck Welfare Association Secretary Dharampal Bansal said that this law is a law of death for the drivers. During this, he demanded the President to amend the law.
