Uttarakhand’s first OTT platform launched, will get a chance to see the beauty and capability of the mountains on screen

Now the whole world will be able to see the depiction of folk culture, rituals and traditions of Uttarakhand on a single digital platform. For this, the first over the top (OTT) medium of Kumaoni and Garhwali films has been launched on Friday. It will feature a complete range of songs and films filmed amidst the supernatural and enchanting views of the mountain valleys. Not only new but old films will be seen on this platform. Also, this effort can prove beneficial in providing new dimensions to the Uttarakhandi film industry.

Ambe Cine was launched

Ambe Cine, the OTT platform of Uttarakhandi films, was launched on Friday in a restaurant located on Nainital Road. BK Dhyani, representative of the organization that launched the platform, claimed that this is the first joint application of Uttarakhand films. It can be downloaded from Google Play Store and App Store.

BK Dhyani said that till now Kumaoni and Garhwali films used to face financial crisis. In such a situation, even film producers were saved. But in the era of internet media, new dimensions are being established. In such a situation, a new initiative has been taken by creating OTT medium for the development of Uttarakhandi films. Very minimum subscription fee has been kept in this.

BK Dhyani told that 80 old, new Uttarakhandi movies and web series are available in it. Chandrakant Negi, senior journalists Charu Tiwari, Narendra Tolia etc. were present on this occasion.
