The last match of the three-match Test series between Australia and Pakistan is being played in Sydney from today. This match is the last test of the career of Australia’s star opener batsman David Warner. After this Warner will never be seen in Test jersey. In his farewell test, David Warner came on the field with his three daughters for the national anthem. Seeing this the entire stadium erupted in applause. From the spectators present at the Sydney Cricket Ground to the cricketers and commentators, everyone was seen clapping after seeing this sight.
David Warner made his international debut on 11 January 2009. He is being included in the playing-11 for the T20 match against South Africa at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Warner played a stormy innings of 89 runs in 43 balls in his very first match. After this he became a dangerous batsman in T20 and ODI.
Most centuries as a test opener in the last 13 years
David Warner has proved to be a strong opener for Australia in Test cricket. No other team’s opener has been able to stand in front of him. Warner has scored the most centuries as an opener in his career in the last 13 years. Batsmen of any other team have not been able to achieve this feat.

He also has the record of scoring a triple century in Test cricket. During this period, Warner’s best score has been 335 runs. Warner has hit a lot of sixes from the bowlers in ODI and T20 also. Warner has scored 6932 runs in 161 ODIs at an average of 45.30 and 2894 runs in 99 T20 matches at an average of 32.88.
