Himachal Pradesh: Four IAS officers promoted, Omkar Sharma and Anuradha Thakur made additional chief secretaries

IAS officers Omkar Sharma and Anuradha Thakur have become additional chief secretaries. Both these officers of 1994 cadre have been promoted after completing 30 years of service in IAS. On completing 25 years as IAS, Dr. Amandeep Garg and Pushpendra Rajput have been made Principal Secretaries. Anuradha Thakur and Pushpendra Rajput are currently on central deputation, hence both these officers have been promoted on proforma basis. After returning to Himachal Pradesh, they will be given promoted designations. A notification in this regard was issued by the Personnel Department on Wednesday.

Additional Chief Secretaries Omkar Sharma and Anuradha Thakur will get Rs 2,25,000 in the apex scale of level 17 of the pay matrix. Dr. Amandeep Garg and Pushpendra Rajput will get the pay matrix of Super Time Scale of IAS Level 15. Omkar Sharma currently has the responsibility of Revenue, Jal Shakti and Tribal Development Department. Anuradha Thakur is working as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in the Government of India. Both these officers are IAS officers of 1994 batch. Dr. Amandeep Garg and Pushpendra Rajput are 1999 batch IAS officers. Dr. Garg has the responsibility of Personnel and Forest Department. Pushpendra Rajput is working as Additional Secretary in Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi.

The number of principal secretaries in the state government increased to five

With the promotion of Dr. Amandeep Garg, the number of principal secretaries in the state government has now increased to five. Presently Bharat Kheda, RD Nazim, Manish Garg and Devesh Kumar are working on the post of Principal Secretary. On the other hand, Omkar Sharma will be the only Additional Chief Secretary in the state government. Nisha Singh and Sanjay Gupta, who held the post of Additional Chief Secretary, have been appointed to other posts by the government.

Rohru, Kangra and Palampur get new SDMs

The state government has appointed three IAS officers kept in leave reserve as SDM in Rohru, Kangra and Palampur. In the notification issued by the Personnel Department, Ishant Jaswal, working on the post of Assistant Commissioner (Leave Reserve) Chamba, has been transferred to Kangra, Vijay Vardhan, working on the post of Assistant Commissioner (Leave Reserve) Mandi, Rohru and Assistant Commissioner (Leave Reserve) Solan. Working Netra Meti has been appointed SDM in Palampur. On the other hand, HAS officers Somil Gautam, Sunny Sharma and Dr. Amit Guleria, who are holding the charge of SDM in these three areas, have been asked to report to the Personnel Department for new appointments.

Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A heart wrenching incident has come to light from Vikasnagar in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Where a young man killed his own mother and fled from the spot. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
