Sudhanshu Pant of Uttarakhan’s Pithoragarh becomes Chief Secretary of Rajasthan

1991 batch IAS Sudhansh Pant has got a big responsibility in Rajasthan. IAS Sudhansh Pant has been made the new Chief Secretary of Rajasthan. Sudhansh Pant is originally a resident of Khitoli ward of Berinag municipality of Pithoragarh district. On behalf of the Central Government, he has been sent to his parent cadre Rajasthan. Now he will serve as Chief Secretary in Rajasthan.

IAS Sudhansh Pant did his early education from St. Joseph’s College. After completing 12th from Dehradun, he did B.Tech from Kharagpur. He became IAS in the year 1991. Sudhansh Pant also has a residence in Goodluck House near Mallital Post Office, Nainital. Local MLA Fakir Ram Tamta, Berinag block chief Vineeta Bafila, former block chief Rekha Bhandari, outgoing municipal president Hem Pant, BJP leader Dheeraj Bisht etc. have expressed happiness over Sudhansh getting the responsibility. IAS Sudhansh Pant has served on various administrative posts. Presently he was posted as Union Health Secretary in Delhi. Now from the central level he has been sent to his parent cadre Rajasthan. Where he will serve as Chief Secretary.

Senior IAS officer Sudhanshu Pant is a 1991 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre. After getting Rajasthan cadre, Sudhanshu Pant worked for a long time in the state. He started working as Jaipur SDM in 1993. After this, Pant was collector in Jaisalmer, Jhunjhunu, Bhilwara and Jaipur. Apart from this, he has also been the Commissioner of JDA, Commissioner of Agriculture Department and Principal Secretary of Forest Environment Department. Not only this, he has also worked as the Chairman of Pollution Control Board of Rajasthan.

PM Modi’s call to Sudhanshu Pant

Senior IAS officer Sudhanshu is considered to be the favorite officer of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For this reason, he was called to Delhi on deputation. Where he worked as Secretary in the Health Ministry of the Government of India. However, now after the retirement of former Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, Usha Sharma, she has been appointed as the Chief Secretary. Due to this, he has also been relieved from Delhi.

Sudhanshu Pant has become the Chief Secretary of Rajasthan. During this period, he has achieved the post of Chief Secretary by defeating his 6 senior officers. IAS officers Subodh Aggarwal, Rajeshwar Singh, Sanjay Malhotra and Shubhra Singh were in the race for Chief Secretary.
