Uttarakhand: Drunk constable beheads young man in Dehradun

In Uttarakhand, people remained immersed in celebrations on the night of 31 December. During this period, police forces were deployed at various places to maintain law and order.

The police caught many drunk people and took them to the police station, but before the police could get applause for this work, the actions of a policeman put Khaki to shame. It is alleged that a drunken policeman beat a young man with his baton and broke his head. During this, the policeman hit the young man several times with a stick on his stomach and back. On receiving information about the uproar, outgoing councilor Amita Singh intervened and got the young man freed from the constable and admitted to the hospital. When the video of the incident went viral on social media, Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh immediately took cognizance of the incident and suspended the constable.

Also, investigation of the case has been handed over to CO City. The incident is from Dehradun. Here the constable who was responsible for maintaining law and order took the law into his own hands. It is alleged that Mani, a resident of Vasant Vihar, was going somewhere in a Maruti van at around 11.30 pm. Due to dense fog, his van collided with a police vehicle near Anurag Chowk. According to outgoing councilor Amita Singh, the policemen were drinking alcohol at the time of the incident. As soon as the collision occurred, constable Shailendra posted at CO Premnagar office became enraged and got down from the vehicle and started beating Mani with his baton. Former councilor Amita Singh somehow freed the young man from the clutches of the constable (Dehradun constable drunk). According to the police, the youth’s mother ran a hostel in Vasant Vihar. The video of the incident is going viral on social media, after which the policeman has been suspended.

Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
