Uttarakhand: MLA Durgeshwar Lal’s “U” turn, expressed regret on his own behavior, said – Subodh Uniyal is like a father
MLA Durgeshwar Lal expressed regret over the behavior shown in front of Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal. Describing Minister Subodh Uniyal as a father figure, he said that this is a family issue. After the controversy, BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt summoned the party MLA. The Chairman said the matter would be resolved.
A heated argument broke out between Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal and BJP’s Purola MLA Durgeshwar Lal over the demand for removal of the DFO couple posted in two different forest divisions of Uttarkashi district. The matter escalated to such an extent that the MLA tore the paper on which the Forest Minister had ordered the investigation and threw it in the air in front of the Minister.
After this, the minister along with his supporters sat on a dharna outside the residence. Late in the evening the MLA met the Chief Minister and informed him about the entire incident. The BJP state leadership has not liked the protest of MLA Durgeshwar Lal. BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt instructed the BJP MLA and Forest Minister to express their views decently. After which today MLA Durgeshwar Lal expressed regret for his behaviour.
