Major administrative reshuffle in Uttarakhand, charge of many officers changed, orders issued… Know here who got which department

The government has changed the charge of six officers including five IAS. According to the order issued by Secretary Arvind Singh Hyanki late on Wednesday night, Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram has been given the additional responsibility of Managing Director Uttarakhand Investment and Infrastructure Development Board.
The responsibility of secretariat administration and protocol has been taken back from Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman and the responsibility of agriculture and agricultural welfare has been given. Additional Secretary Vineet Kumar has been given the additional charge of Director ITDA till the period of maternity leave of Additional Secretary Nikita Khandelwal. At the same time, Deepti Singh has been given this responsibility by taking back the charge of Director Horticulture from Additional Secretary Ranveer Singh Chauhan.
SSPs doing better work will be rewarded
Acting Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar reviewed the work of the Crime and Law and Order Section. He gave instructions to reward the district in-charge (Senior Superintendent of Police) who maintains law and order. Also issued various guidelines including completing the pending transfers before the Lok Sabha elections.
In the review meeting, the Acting Director General of Police decided that on the lines of Crime in India published by NCRB, Crime in Uttarakhand will be published in relation to the population of the districts and the sanctioned police force there.
Acting DGP gave instructions to ensure timely transfer of personnel who have completed the stipulated period in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha general elections. Subordinates were also asked to serve summons and notices through mobile, WhatsApp and e-mail.
Online complaint system implemented
Investigations should be completed within the time period and the provisions of the Police Act should be followed in the transfer of inspectors and sub-inspectors. Instructions were also given to design the format of crime related data and generate it online in CCTNS.
At the same time, efforts will also be made soon to fulfill the shortage of narcotics and tracker dogs. In view of the road accidents caused by stray animals, the DGP asked the Cow Protection Squad to cooperate with the municipal bodies in marking such animals and sending them to cow shelters.
In the meeting, Inspector General of Police Crime and Law and Order P Renuka Devi gave a presentation regarding the manpower, challenges and future action plan of the Crime and Law and Order Section.
Additional Director General of Police Administration Amit Sinha said that action should be taken on such complaints received by the Police Headquarters in which the allegations are found to be true.
Additional Director General of Police, Crime and Law and Order, AP Anshuman said that the online complaint system has been implemented in the complaint cell established at the police headquarters from January 1 this year, through which the progress and timeliness of investigation of complaints can be monitored. Inspector General of Police Arun Mohan Joshi was also present in the meeting.
