Madhya Pradesh: Health of Guna Collector Amanveer Singh Bains deteriorated, preparations to refer him to Bhopal; CM Mohan Yadav fell ill after returning from the meeting

The health of Guna District Collector of Madhya Pradesh Amanveer Singh Bains has deteriorated. He has been admitted to the ICU ward of the district hospital. At present, preparations are underway to refer sick Amanveer Singh to Bhopal.
District Magistrate Bains returned to Guna this morning after attending the meeting of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav convened in Gwalior on Thursday itself. Additional Collector Pratham Kaushik told that Collector Amanveer Singh Bains has been given medicine for acidity. He was admitted to the district hospital due to indigestion. At present his health is fine.
Collector Amanveer Singh is the son of former Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains. He is an IAS officer of 2013 batch. After the bus accident in Guna, Amanveer Singh Bains was made the Collector of Guna by replacing Tarun Rathi.

Former Chief Secretary of the state Iqbal Singh Bains himself had been Guna Collector in 1995-96. When retired IAS Iqbal Singh was the collector in Guna, at that time only 7 years old Amanveer was studying in Class-2 in Missionary School. This is the first time that in a district where the father had been the collector, the son also became the collector.
